Reilly Alexander, LMT

Reilly is a Licensed Massage Therapist who has practiced in Flagstaff since December 2004.  She was inspired to become a massage therapist because of her personal experience with an extreme case of 24/7 muscle pain as the result of a low back injury followed by three years of solid stress.

Reilly attended Phoenix Therapeutic Massage College where she learned a number of techniques that immediately increase range of motion and reduce pain, which she incorporates into her sessions.  Additionally, she has studied Cranial Sacral Therapy, Lymphatic Massage and self-study in nutrition.

She works with the intention of manipulating the muscles of the body to return them to a balanced state, thereby increasing range of motion and decreasing pain as quickly as possible so that her clients can enjoy a relaxing Swedish massage from then on.

Reilly sees her mission as a massage therapist as striving to “affect the lives of her clients over time to the degree that no matter when they take their last breath, they take it as an agile and limber individual, not bent over and crippled”.

All I can say is thank you so much Reilly Alexander for how you helped me. I have been working at a new job & do not have a drop down keyboard & so my left arm has been taken a beating “so to speak”. I had lost the ability to raise my arm up over my head due to the strain it is under at work using the keyboard all day. After telling Reilly about the pain in my arm she went to work right away with her therapeutic massage & it was wonderful! I could actually raise my arm above my head & had began right away to get the full range of motion with my arm. I have been doing the simple stretching exercises that Reilly recommended & it really has helped. Thank you so much Reilly for your help, I will continue to come for more therapeutic massages because you make me feel so much better & I am able to do my job under the conditions I am currently working.
    +1

Reilly is wonderful! She is really in tune with how our body systems work and how to guide them to better function. She is responsive to your needs and her personal experience has given her the depth and skills to address your own pain and discomfort issues. I felt wonderful after my first session and promptly booked four more sessions.

Reilly is amazing. I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars on health practitioners, and most of those have yielded little or no results. On the other end of the scale, Reilly’s massages have been one of the best investments I’ve ever made.

I had never been able to sit in the Full Yoga Lotus position pain-free in my life. I would get into position, to be able to say I’d done it, then would have to bail after a few seconds. At the end of two months with Reilly I sat in lotus in complete comfort for 10 minutes. And I felt fine afterward–no after pain. She’s amazing! That’s why I’m collaborating on a book about her technique.

I scheduled a massage therapy session with Reilly today for help with a 10 month old shoulder injury that has been stubborn to heal. Reilly’s technique is very focused and patient allowing for deep penetration of the tender spots with very little discomfort. She was also excellent at guiding me through the process she was using so that I could incorporate breathing as I relaxed under her very capable hands. As a result I have increased movement in the shoulder with none of the pain of the injury. Thanks Reilly!
