Paul Kulpinski, LMT

Paul is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Arizona.  He received his certification in massage from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in 1999 where he studied the fundamentals of anatomy, physiology and the application of the primary massage protocols that are the foundation of his work.    He started building a full-time practice by making house calls to clients and by earning a reputation for providing outstanding massage at the Flagstaff Athletic Club.  By the end of his first year in practice, he took up residence in an office on Verde Street in downtown Flagstaff, where he met Dr. Roxanne Witte.  By 2004, Paul's practice had grown and he expanded his office into a larger location on Fourth Street where he began offering hydrotherapy protocols.

He then partnered with Roxanne and opened Mountain Waves Healing Arts at its present location in 2007.  This expansion has enabled him to bring Aquatic Bodywork to Flagstaff, the only such service in town.

His on-going training and experience in relaxation massage modalities, therapeutic massage modalities and energetic bodywork provides him with a comprehensive set of skills from which he can customize an appropriate and effective therapy session for most circumstances.

Additionally, Paul has worked with world class athletes who train at the Center for High Altitude Training at Northern Arizona University, who then received bronze, silver and gold medals in the 2000 Summer Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia and the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.  Paul also serves on the Center's national advisory board.

Educating his clients is a large part of Paul's practice.  He regularly provides wellness tips to help people develop and maintain control over their health.  You can also hear Paul each Wednesday morning on the radio as part of the Wellness Wednesday segment with Malone in the Morning at 100.1 FM on the radio dial.

Paul also holds a B.F.A. from New York University which he earned in 1987.  He and his wife, Theresa have made Flagstaff their home since 1989 where they are joyfully rearing their two children.   He and his family have involved themselves in numerous Flagstaff community and civic organizations.  He is currently an elected member of the Flagstaff Unified School District Governing Board.

Paul is a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.
